Diemersfontein Chenin Blanc 2025 is an unwooded Wellington white made in a bright, fruit-forward style that leans into freshness and easy drinkability. This is a straightforward but well-handled expression of Chenin Blanc, where ripe tropical fruit is balanced by clean acidity and a crisp finish. It does not try to be overly layered or weighty. Instead, it succeeds through clarity, charm, and balance.
The nose opens with guava, white pear, and passion fruit, and those flavors carry neatly onto the palate. The wine feels lively and refreshing, with zesty acidity keeping the ripe fruit in check and giving the finish a clean, mouthwatering edge. It is especially well suited to seafood, grilled chicken, or salads with apple or pear, where its freshness and fruit can work naturally alongside lighter flavors.
Made for youthful drinking, this is the kind of Chenin Blanc that fits easily into warm afternoons, relaxed lunches, and uncomplicated meals without sacrificing varietal character.

The grapes were harvested in two passes to capture both bright acidity and riper tropical fruit character. After destemming and a gentle crush, the juice was left on the skins for two hours to build texture and flavor. Fermentation took place cool at 13°C over three weeks to preserve freshness and aromatics. After fermentation, the wine was racked off the lees and prepared for bottling in a clean, unwooded style focused on fruit purity and early-drinking appeal.
