Aromas of ripe plum, black cherry, and blackberry lead into layers of dark chocolate and subtle tobacco. On the palate, bold black fruit is beautifully integrated with refined oak, fresh acidity, and firm yet polished tannins. A classic, cellar-worthy red blend with depth, balance, and timeless appeal.
Handpicked at optimal ripeness, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel with regular pump-overs for full flavor extraction. After four weeks on the skins and malolactic fermentation, the wine matured for 15 months in 225L French oak barrels—75% new—for depth and structure. Expertly blended and bottled, this red blend reflects both modern precision and classic Constantia character.
