Description
A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cinsault, it offers inviting aromas of ripe red berries and sweet spice. The palate is soft, smooth, and fruit-driven, with the berry character carrying through alongside gentle spice and a lingering finish. It's deliberately approachable and versatile, offering enough red-wine character to work at the dinner table while remaining light and easy to enjoy.
Serve slightly cool alongside roast chicken, grilled vegetables, tomato-based pasta, pizza, charcuterie, or lightly spiced meat dishes. It is also vegan-friendly and low in calories, making it a useful alternative when conventional red wine isn't the right choice for the occasion.
The alcohol is removed using a spinning cone under vacuum at low temperature. This is important because the lower processing temperature helps preserve the wine's delicate aromas and flavors while removing the alcohol. The de-alcoholized wine is then handled and bottled with the same care as a conventional wine.
Winemaker: Eugene van Zyl
Natura was created specifically for occasions when alcohol can or should be avoided while retaining as much of the experience of wine as possible. Because the wines are fermented conventionally before de-alcoholization, they retain a connection to traditional winemaking that distinguishes them from drinks that have never undergone alcoholic fermentation.
