Delaire Graff Rosé 2026 is a 100% Cabernet Franc rosé from Stellenbosch, combining bright red fruit with the freshness and herbal lift naturally associated with the variety. Fruit from the Simonsberg and Helderberg contributes both ripeness and definition, while careful lees work gives the wine more texture than a straightforward, fruit-led rosé.
The nose opens with crushed red berries, a light cotton candy note, and a subtle hint of mint. On the palate, the wine is textured and expressive, with lively acidity keeping the ripe fruit fresh and focused. A small barrel-fermented component adds extra breadth without taking away from the wine’s crisp, dry finish. It would pair naturally with grilled prawns, fresh salads, charcuterie, Mediterranean dishes, or simply serve well chilled on a warm afternoon.
Made for youthful enjoyment, this is a vibrant Stellenbosch rosé with enough texture and structure to work comfortably at the table as well as on its own.
The Cabernet Franc was hand-harvested during the cool morning hours from vineyards on the Simonsberg and Helderberg slopes. The grapes were gently pressed and fermented in Delaire Graff’s gravity-fed cellar. The wine remained on its fine lees with regular stirring to build texture and complexity, while a small portion of barrel-fermented rosé was incorporated into the final blend to add further depth and nuance without compromising freshness.
