Description
On the palate, it presents as full-bodied but maintains an elegance and maturity, driven primarily by its fruit-forward character. Blackberries and cassis take center stage, followed by nuanced notes of white chocolate, cigar box, and light pencil shavings. Subtle tannins enhance the structure, lingering with sweet red berry flavors for a satisfying finish.
The wine was racked off the skins and malolactic fermentation was completed, partially in barrels and in tanks. The wine was then racked and transferred to 300 liter French oak barrels (New, 2nd fill and 3rd fill) to mature for 16 to 22months.
