The Plaisir Grand Plaisir Chardonnay 2024 is a focused and elegant expression of Paarl Chardonnay, crafted to highlight purity of fruit, freshness, and refined oak integration.
The nose is bright and lifted, offering citrus-driven aromatics of lemon and grapefruit, complemented by crisp green apple and subtle white peach. On the palate, the wine is structured and linear, with vibrant acidity and a distinct mineral edge providing precision and balance. A gentle, well-judged use of oak adds texture and depth without overpowering the fruit, resulting in a Chardonnay that is both full-bodied and finely poised. The finish is long, clean, and lingering, with a refreshing citrus-driven lift.
This is a versatile and food-friendly Chardonnay, pairing beautifully with grilled seafood, roast chicken, creamy dishes, and soft cheeses.

The grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness and gently pressed to preserve fruit purity. Fermentation took place in a combination of stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels, allowing for both freshness and complexity. A portion of the wine was matured on its lees, enhancing texture and mouthfeel, while careful oak integration added subtle spice and structure. The final blend was crafted to achieve balance, richness, and elegance.
