Fresh dark fruit and spicy aromas upon entry. A well-balanced wine with so round tannins and a pleasant finish. Pairs well with slow-cooked beef Ragu pasta or roast chicken. Ready to enjoy upon release and will develop well for up to 10 years.
6-7 days on the skins at 26°C in open fermenters. Punch downs were done every 2 hours during fermentation. After malolactic fermentation the wine aged in 5% new and 95% second/third and fourth fill French oak barrels for 12-14 months.
