Lively and textural, this Swartland Chenin Blanc weaves together layers of stone fruit, melon, quince, and apricot in a beautifully seamless palate. Hints of honey and delicate florals add intrigue on the nose, while a subtle citrus pith lingers on the long, refreshing finish. The wine’s creamy lees character adds weight and texture without compromising its fresh acidity or poise. A structured, expressive white that captures the Swartland’s sun-drenched soul.
Handpicked from dry-farmed bush vines on the Kasteelberg slopes, our Chenin was whole-bunch pressed, then naturally fermented in a mix of stainless steel, puncheons, and foudre. A touch of new French oak adds subtle complexity. Aged on fine lees for 4 months to enhance mouthfeel, this vintage shows the clarity, tension, and signature minerality of Riebeeksrivier’s shale soils.
