Bright and expressive, this Stellenbosch Chardonnay pours a lively golden hue, opening with aromas of citrus blossom, white peach, and gentle oak spice. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, where creamy sur lie texture complements—not overshadows—the fruit's natural elegance. Fresh acidity lends vibrancy to the finish, making it both refined and versatile. A superb partner for grilled meaty fish, or simply seasoned poultry and pork. A modern classic for lovers of expressive South African Chardonnay.
Hand-harvested and whole-bunch pressed for gentle extraction, this Chardonnay was fermented in a mix of 500L and 225L French oak barrels—15% of which were new. The wine matured on its lees for nine months, building texture and depth before final blending and bottling. This careful approach preserves purity while adding subtle oak complexity and a creamy, elegant mouthfeel.
