Delicate and refined, this Méthode Cap Classique Brut Rosé from Groot Constantia captures the estate’s centuries-old winemaking heritage in every bubble. Fresh notes of wild strawberries, raspberries, and subtle citrus zest rise from the glass, layered with hints of rose petals and brioche. The palate is vibrant yet elegant, with fine mousse and a crisp, lingering finish that balances fruit purity with a touch of sophistication. Perfect for celebrations, pairing with seafood, or enjoying as an aperitif, this sparkling rosé delivers timeless elegance and irresistible charm.
Hand-harvested grapes were gently whole-bunch pressed, with only the purest juice selected. Fermentation took place at cool temperatures to preserve freshness, before secondary fermentation in the bottle using the traditional Méthode Cap Classique. The wine matured on the lees for an extended period, developing fine bubbles, creamy texture, and layered complexity before disgorgement and release.

Groot Constantia’s revered history tells us how a man’s love of wine established the first wine farm in South Africa. By going back 300 years, we come to understand how 891 morgen of land created the origins of the South African wine industry, and how every owner thereafter contributed to what we know as Groot Constantia today.
