This New Zealand Pinot Noir captivates with vibrant notes of dark red fruits, blackberries, and a hint of dark chocolate, underpinned by a rich earthy complexity. The structure is beautifully balanced, with ripe tannins, fine acidity, and a touch of minerality that adds depth and elegance to each sip.
Perfect for pairing with dishes like duck confit, mushroom risotto, or grilled salmon, this wine’s layered profile enhances the flavors of hearty, earthy meals with finesse.

Our organic winemaking allows the grapes to retain the elegant rose gold colour and intense flavours extracted from the skin and carried through to the glass.
The natural secondary fermentation on the lees with regular stirring provides silkiness, complexity, and depth. Unfined and only light filtration to retain the beautiful aromas. This wine is not exposed to cold stabilization and natural sediments may show.
After a perfect, warm autumn we handpicked less than 900g/vine of wonderful, physiologically ripe grapes for a vibrant and alluring Pinot.
The grapes were given four days to cold-soak before a natural wild yeast initiation of the ferment. The wine spent 24 days on skins before being pressed and transferred into 20% new French Allier barriques for malolactic fermentation and further aging for 18 months. Unfined and unfiltered to retain the great flavours. Natural sediments may show.

Settled in 1994 in the heart of Marlborough within the most beautiful Mediterranean gardens, Herzog’s offers casual luxury and indulgence for wine and food lovers.
Hans Herzog has recently taken a more sustainable approach to their packaging and has removed the capsules from their bottles. As organic producers, they felt a little bit hypocritical using tin capsules, therefore made the decision to have them removed.
