This Stellenbosch Rosé offers elegant notes of pomegranate, ruby grape fruit, strawberries and raspberries. A crisp and impressive entry of bright fruit and acidity is followed by smooth textured mid-palate with a long and seductive finish.
A finely balanced and textured wine, with a crisp natural acidity. The GlenRosé will most certainly develop complexity with age.

Grapes were harvested by hand at optimal ripeness. Only free run juice was used and skin contact was determined in individual batches. A 15% portion of the wine was matured in large French oak barrels for two months. A finely balanced and textured wine, with a crisp natural acidity. The GlenRosé will most certainly develop complexity with age.

Established in 1992 by Mauritian-born Marc Wiehe, L'Avenir estate has deep roots tracing back to the era of Simon van der Stel, when the land was first cultivated for vines. Quickly ascending to iconic status, L'Avenir made waves with its 1997 Chenin Blanc, which clinched the top spot in the Chenin Blanc Challenge. By 2004, L'Avenir repeatedly featuring among the top ten in the prestigious annual Top Ten Pinotage Competition.
Following a merger with Chablis-based Laroche and the Jeanjean family, L'Avenir became part of AdVini, a renowned family-owned wine producer with a focus on France and a footprint in Africa in the form of L’Avenir. Despite L’Avenir Estate only having been established in 1992, our soils have been under vine since the beginning of the Stellenbosch wine region. The majority of our vineyards have reached full maturity, resulting in naturally limited yields of the highest quality grapes.
