The nose is bright and fresh, featuring notes of green fig and green apple, steering away from the typical aromas of asparagus and gooseberry. The real distinction, however, is on the palate, where a burst of tropical flavors takes center stage.
Emerald is a bold blend from Elgin and Franschhoek, radiating confidence and powerful flavors. The nose also hints at nettles, blackcurrant leaves, green pepper, and a touch of ground white pepper. Yet, it’s the palate where Emerald truly shines. Juicy cantaloupe intermingles with ripe mango, passionfruit, and pineapple, creating a luxurious mouthfeel that lingers on the finish.
With each pour, the Emerald transports you to Elgin, capturing the essence of its unique terroir in every sip.
