An elegant, fruit-forward wine from Marlborough, New Zealand, offering notes of dried pear, melon, and delicate florals. This vibrant, medium-bodied white delivers a perfect balance of freshness and complexity, ideal for pairing with light dishes or enjoying on its own. Expect red apple and spiced cloves aromas, and a full bodied palate. Concentration of fruit shows through with a supple underlying structure that leaves the wine fresh and vibrant on the finish.
Another year of near perfect weather conditions. A warm spring allowed the vines to escape frost, while an above average rainfall lead to early flowering. Low rainfall throughout the summer and cooler temperatures were a perfect balance for the vines to mature free of disease and with optimum flavor maturity levels.

In the 1990's, deep in the Waihopai Valley, Bryan and Jan Johnson established 320 acres of estate vineyards on land considered too hard, too dry and too unfertile for wine. It was a venture that started with a passion for the land. This pioneering spirit established one of New Zealand’s most successful boutique family-run wineries, now exporting eight varietals to 35 countries, from a crush capacity of 3000 tons.
