Tropical kiwi, green melon, and white pear with abundant blackcurrant on the nose. Enticingly floral with aromas of purple flowers and rose petals, a twist of lime, and a subtle orange rind - pure perfection in a glass. The palate is chiseled, tense and chalky, with elegant texture, limey acidity, and a seamless finish that expresses aromas of green guava with lemony notes.
A rainy and cool winter season allowed the vines to get ample rest. The average winter rainfall was 585 mm. Hail and rain in September caused damage to the vines and further wind during flowering also influenced yields. The dry ripening season required careful monitoring of soil moisture to ensure ideal conditions. Despite the cool season, favorable weather during ripening allowed for even budding. A vintage of excellent quality with lower yields.
