The first impression is one of pure and exquisite elegance. The nose reveals vibrant zesty citrus and orange blossom, complemented by subtle cashew nuttiness and a hint of lime.
On the palate, it is tight, chalky, and mineral-driven, exuding refinement. Layers of freshness and complexity unfold with flavors of succulent white peach and persimmon, seamlessly mingling with zesty tangerine on the finish. A beautifully balanced wine that captivates with its depth and sophistication.

An exceptionally cold winter and an overall cool growing season, accompanied by above-average rainfall, created ideal conditions for the 2023 vintage. Winter rainfall totaled 607 mm, and snow adorned the peaks of the Helderberg Mountains, adding to the season’s uniqueness.
The cool, wet budding season, coupled with less wind than usual during flowering, posed some challenges but ultimately contributed to balanced vine development. During ripening, 50 mm of rain and moderate temperature increases ensured a relatively cool period. Favorable moisture levels throughout the season led to one of the best growing conditions experienced to date, producing berries with excellent concentration and elegant flavor profiles.
