This Grenache Noir radiates a ruby-red hue, with enticing aromas of smoky cherry and lively red fruit, underpinned by a hint of delicate licorice spice. On the palate, vibrant notes of cherry and cranberry unfold, invigorated by a fresh acidity that reflects the cooler vintage. Refined, soft tannins add balance, highlighting a unique salinity that brings depth to the wine’s refreshing character.
The grapes are hand-harvested, destemmed but not crushed, and approximately 4% of the bunches are left whole. Thesewhole berries and bunches are then placed in fermentation vessels and allowed to ferment for approximately 18 days. After fermentation, the grapes are pressed, and the wine is transferred to old 500L French oak barrels and porcelain jars for malolactic fermentation and ageing.
