A complex wine showing intense cassis, wet tobacco, blackberry and liquorice with undertones of graphite and allspice. Its wonderful bouquet of rich fruit, minerals, oak and fresh acidity are a delight. The palate is full bodied with an elegant structure that will allow the wine to develop well over the next decade.
Excellent to pair with fillet mignon and bordelaise sauce or rib-eye on the bone. Great with rich meaty stews like oxtail or slow cooked lamb shanks.
