Vivid and expressive, this cool-climate Chardonnay from Constantia opens with aromas of ripe citrus, Golden Delicious apple, pistachio, and a whisper of butterscotch. On the palate, it’s crisp and full-bodied, with a tight, linear acidity that carries flavors of zesty lemon, green apple, and subtle vanilla. Lean yet elegant, it finishes long and tart, offering both finesse and freshness. A beautifully balanced wine for lovers of focused, mineral-driven Chardonnay.
Sourced from our young southern-slope vineyards at 120m altitude, this Chardonnay was whole-bunch pressed, cold-soaked on lees for a week, then fermented in stainless steel. It aged 12 months in 60% new 500L French oak, with 60% malolactic fermentation to balance its vivid natural acidity—preserving purity while adding texture and depth.
