Delicate and refreshing, the 2024 Lanzerac Pinotage Rosé is a Stellenbosch classic with aromas of rose petals, redcurrants, and crushed strawberries. A brief 2–3 hour skin contact gives the wine its elegant blush hue and soft, fruit-forward character. Dry and perfumed with a gentle floral lift, this Rosé is made for warm-weather sipping and relaxed occasions. A proudly South African wine that continues to charm generation after generation.
The 2024 Lanzerac Pinotage Rosé was crafted from a single 3-hectare block in the Jonkershoek Valley, planted in 2015. Grapes were picked at 21–22˚ Balling, then hand-sorted, destemmed, and gently crushed. A brief 2–3 hour skin contact gave the wine its delicate hue before the juice settled at 13–14˚C for 48 hours. Fermentation with a selected yeast strain took place over 10 days at a cool 14˚C, preserving the wine’s freshness, perfume, and vibrant fruit expression.
