Elegant and expressive, the 2024 Lanzerac Mrs English Chardonnay is crafted from a single vineyard in Stellenbosch’s Jonkershoek Valley. Bursting with vibrant citrus aromas, the wine offers a full-bodied palate with refined texture and a long, graceful finish. Careful blending brings harmony and depth, highlighting its balance, complexity, and finesse. A standout South African Chardonnay, it pairs beautifully with white meats, creamy pastas, and delicately smoked seafood.
Sourced from a high-altitude, 29-year-old single vineyard, the 2024 Mrs English Chardonnay is crafted with precision and care. Grapes were hand-harvested at 22.5–23˚ Balling, whole-bunch pressed, and settled for 48 hours before fermentation in French oak—40% new, 40% second-fill, 20% third-fill. A mix of cultured and wild yeast builds complexity, while 12 months of barrel aging with weekly bâtonnage adds richness, texture, and depth to this elegant Stellenbosch Chardonnay.
