The wine displays a stunning light straw color with a brilliant green edge. The nose opens with aromas of Passion Fruit, Caped Gooseberry, lemongrass and a signature wisp of Blackcurrant leaf. There is an amazing freshness as the wine enters the palate, with flavors aligning with the aromas and leading to a textured mid-palate and a lingering saline finish.
Crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown on our cool-climate Elgin Highlands farm, only the best free-run juice from select vineyard blocks makes it into this Sauvignon Blanc. After gentle whole-bunch pressing and cool fermentation in stainless steel, the wine rests on fine lees for nine months—building texture, elegance, and purity true to Tokara’s terroir-driven style.
