Deep core with wide bright rim. Very attractive, ripe berry nose. Impressive, full-fruited entry. Intense and complex in the mouth with ever-developing berry fruits. Supple tannins give good support. Will well reward a dozen or more years development in the bottle.
Aged in 300L French oak barrels. Stays separated during fermentation, each cultivar sits in its own barrel until we pick out the best barrels for the wine. 75% new wood in the wine.
