The Chardonnay displays a bright green-gold hue with a vibrant core, showcasing primary aromas of citrus blossom, neroli, and yellow peaches. Secondary notes bring a savory sea-spray and a chalk-like aroma, complemented by a subtle oak influence. On the palate, it’s well-balanced with a soft mouthfeel and a crisp acidity that lends the wine impressive length.
The grapes are sourced from three different vineyards, all of which have different soils and climates. The Bright is mostly from our Franschhoek vineyard but also has grapes from Tulbagh and Elgin.
