Inviting aromas of pineapple, stone fruit and lime blossom with underlying floral notes. A full, rich palate of citrus and spice leads into a long fresh honeyed finish.
Grapes were selected from various vineyards in Franschhoek and Swartland. The Chenin Blanc grapes were harvested by hand between 22.5˚ and 23.4˚ Balling with good harvesting conditions throughout and the drought effecting yields.
Fermentation took place in a stainless-steel tank at 14˚C. a Small percentage of the wine was barrel fermented in older oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel tanks. The wine was left on its primary lees for at least six months and stirred on a regular basis to enhance flavours and mouth-feel.

Rickety Bridge wine estate is undoubtedly one of the most progressive wineries in the Cape. The historic winemaking cellar was recently renovated and converted into a barrel fermentation centre, the new winery was built and modern cooling equipment was installed.
