This Rhône-inspired blend is vibrant yet offers serious structure, combining 59% Grenache from Wellington with Mourvèdre, Shiraz, and a touch of Tempranillo. Lightly oaked, it presents soft tannins and a medium to full-bodied profile. On the palate, you'll discover a harmonious blend of dark berry flavors, hints of chocolate, and a smooth, approachable texture.
Cheerful and easy-drinking, this wine strikes the perfect balance between fruit-forward character and refined complexity, making it an excellent choice for casual sipping or pairing with a variety of dishes.

They ferment all their wines wild. Their red wines are fermented in old open concrete tanks with manual punchdowns and matured in concrete eggs, French oak foudres and barrels. They work mainly with Mediterranean varietals, (old) bush vines and besides their own grapes, they also source grapes from Wellington, Swartland and Stellenbosch.

Tempel Wines is home to high-quality, hand-crafted wines. Their philosophy is to let the grapes do the talking – they create modern wines that reflect the character and soul of the region. As 80% of their wines are made on the field, they take great care to select only the best cultivars and rootstocks given the climatological circumstances and different soils at their vineyards. They try and keep farming as natural as possible to maintain the best quality in the end products.
