The Chardonnay for which Uva Mira is renowned, consistently awarded prestigious accolades since the premiere 2004 vintage was awarded the title “The Best Chardonnay in the World” IWSC, 2006.

Winter started later and was warmer than usual, but rainfall was good throughout the season. Above-average temperatures in July caused uneven bud break and smaller berries on certain cultivars.
Temperature fluctuations in September and October led to uneven bunches; however, weather conditions improved in November. A warmer February resulted in earlier harvesting of some cultivars. Rain and cool conditions in March slowed the ripening of red wine varietals, leading to a later harvest at relatively lower sugar levels.
