Winter arrived later and was warmer than usual, but rainfall during the season was favorable. Above-average temperatures in July led to uneven bud break and smaller berries in some cultivars. Temperature fluctuations in September and October further contributed to uneven bunch formation; however, conditions improved significantly in November.
A warmer February brought about earlier harvesting for certain cultivars, while rain and cooler conditions in March slowed the ripening of red wine varietals. This extended the harvest period, resulting in a later harvest with relatively lower sugar levels, reflecting the unique conditions of the season.
