Grapes were harvested at peak ripeness and fermented in small stainless steel tanks with a mix of pump-overs and punch-downs for gentle extraction. Malolactic fermentation followed in tank, then the wine was matured in oak barrels—10–15% new, with the rest in older 3rd and 4th fill barrels. This approach preserves the Syrah’s vibrant fruit while adding subtle complexity and smooth, integrated tannins.
