Description

Bright red fruit jumps out of the glass with this delicious bush vine Grenache Noir. Defined red fruit on the nose, showing ripe red cherry, strawberry and cranberry, with spicy notes of cinnamon and Parma ham, and a floral note of violets.

Bright and polished on the palate with sour cherry acidity, soft tannin and notes of fynbos and sweet liquorice adding complexity to the red fruits. The fresh acidity balances well with the sweet fruit flavors, with juicy cranberry on the finish.

Pair with roasted meats and vegetables, stews and braises, or smoky, charred dishes like grills and barbecue.
Grapes are sourced from the Piekenierskloof, about 80km from the west coast. Unirrigated bush vines are planted in deep sandy soils. Elevated sites have a warm climate with cooling evening winds
