Layers of dark fruit unfold on the palate, supported by fresh acidity and a firm tannin backbone. Subtle spice notes of clove and pepper add complexity, while the wine’s structure promises graceful aging. This is a polished expression of Shiraz from South Africa’s oldest wine estate, balancing elegance with intensity.
Crafted from hand-harvested grapes grown in granitic soils and cooled by Atlantic breezes, this Shiraz reflects the elegance of Constantia terroir. Fermented in both closed tanks and open fermenters with manual punchdowns, the wine was matured for 12 months in a mix of new and seasoned French oak barrels and foudre, ensuring complexity, spice, and age-worthy structure.
