Description

The La Vierge Estate Range Chardonnay 2023 is an elegant expression of cool-climate craftsmanship. Fragrant notes of citrus zest, yellow blossoms, and subtle minerality are beautifully layered with hints of creamy almond and white chocolate from gentle oak aging.

The palate is rich yet refined, offering a smooth texture and vibrant freshness. A perfectly balanced Chardonnay with depth, finesse, and a lingering, mineral-driven finish.
The grapes were gently de-stemmed and pressed, then settled for 24 hours before the clear juice was transferred to 500L French oak barrels and amphorae for natural fermentation. To retain freshness, malolactic fermentation was prevented, and the wine aged on its lees for nine months with minimal bâtonnage. It then spent six months in stainless steel, ensuring purity, texture, and vibrant acidity before bottling.
