Description
The nose opens with honeysuckle, white peach, ripe melon, lime zest, and a touch of ginger. On the palate, a vivid sherbet-like acidity cuts through the wine’s natural concentration, giving definition to the stone fruit and citrus flavors. The texture is smooth and velvety, with a mineral line carrying through to a mouthwatering, persistent finish. It would pair especially well with roast chicken, grilled fish, pork, or gently spiced dishes.
This is a structured Chenin Blanc that is expressive now, but its balance of acidity, texture, and concentration should allow it to develop well over the next several years.
