Vibrant and pure, showing fresh blackcurrant and green melon intertwined with sherbet-like lime acidity. White peach lends gentle sweetness to the mid-palate, balanced by a fine chalky structure. The texture is delicate, infused with saline finesse and a subtle fynbos herbal note. Beautifully aromatic yet precise, capturing a coastal vitality.
A cool, wet winter provided the vines with excellent winter rest. From April to August, we had 678 mm of rain — the second highest rainfall since 2008. Cool, steady spring weather led to even budding though thorough canopy management as well as attention to humidity levels was essential. The 2025 ripening season was cool and dry, ideal for slow and even ripening. Careful monitoring of soil moisture levels and supplementary irrigation was required
for optimal ripening. 2025 is one of the most balanced, quality-focused vintages in recent years.
