A cool, wet winter provided the vines with excellent winter rest. From April to August, we had 678 mm of rain — the second highest rainfall since 2008. Cool, steady spring weather led to even budding though thorough canopy management as well as attention to humidity levels was essential. The 2025 ripening season was cool and dry, ideal for slow and even ripening. Careful monitoring of soil moisture levels and supplementary irrigation was required
for optimal ripening. 2025 is one of the most balanced, quality-focused vintages in recent years.

Uva Mira translates to "The Wonderful Grape," with Uva being the Latin word for grape and Mira meaning wonderful, miraculous, and full of charm. Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards is situated in the renowned "Golden Triangle," an area celebrated for its noble grape varieties and the production of wines of exceptional quality.
The estate spans 127 hectares, with 33 hectares under vine, cultivating six varietals: Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Shiraz, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Positioned between 260 and 620 meters above sea level and just nine kilometers from False Bay, the vineyards benefit from a unique climate that naturally produces wines of elegance and finesse. Every bottle is handcrafted exclusively from grapes grown on the estate, allowing the wines to fully express the distinct characteristics of this remarkable site.
