Vibrant and polished, the 2024 Uva Mira ‘The Mira’ Sauvignon Blanc is a stunning expression of high-altitude Stellenbosch terroir. Aromas of green melon, papaya, and lemongrass unfold with hints of white florals and a subtle peppery edge. The palate is layered with fleshy guava, passionfruit, and quince, supported by crisp acidity and a refined mineral streak. Concentrated yet elegant, this wine delivers purity, length, and mouthwatering precision in every sip.
The 2024 vintage was one of the best we've experienced—cool, wet, and beautifully balanced. A cold winter with snow on the Helderberg and generous rainfall set the tone for slow, even ripening. Gentle weather during flowering and moderate temperatures during harvest gave us berries with exceptional concentration, freshness, and finesse. These ideal conditions allowed us to craft a Sauvignon Blanc that’s both vibrant and deeply expressive of our mountain vineyards.
