Description
Opulent and inviting, the nose opens with layers of ripe black cherry, cassis, and mulberry, underpinned by earthy truffle and subtle mineral notes. Gentle wafts of cedar from the French oak maturation add depth and sophistication.
The palate is rich and velvety, unfolding with concentrated dark berry flavours that intertwine seamlessly with earthy undertones and a fine mineral edge. Supple tannins and well-balanced acidity provide structure, while delicate hints of vanilla and mocha from the oak carry through to a long, elegant finish.
Grapes were hand-picked and sorted to ensure only the highest-quality fruit entered the fermentation tanks. Fermentation conducted in temperature-controlled stainless steel to preserve aromatic freshness and varietal character.
Regular pump-overs and punch-downs to enhance colour extraction, flavour concentration, and tannin integration. Matured for 12 months in first-fill French oak barrels from a selection of coopers, providing layered complexity.
