A vibrant, modern Chenin Blanc that captures the essence of Stellenbosch terroir. Crafted from a blend of old-vine fruit—some matured in French oak, others kept unwooded—it balances zesty natural acidity with expressive layers of white peach, melon, and citrus. Hints of raw honey and toasted almonds add complexity, while the palate is medium-bodied, finely textured, and beautifully fresh. A refined, versatile white wine made for both early enjoyment and short-term cellaring.
Hand-harvested from old bush vines on L’Avenir’s cool, Atlantic-influenced slopes, the 2024 Chenin Blanc reflects a near-perfect vintage. Extended ripening and low yields delivered fruit with vibrant acidity and depth. Each vineyard block was vinified separately, with partial oak maturation—40% aged in French barrels for nine months and the rest on lees in tank—creating a layered, elegant and terroir-driven white wine.
