From the high-altitude slopes of the Helderberg comes a Chardonnay of rare grace and precision. The Single Tree 2024 reveals aromas of sun-kissed yellow peach, dried apricot, and lemon cream, layered with biscuit, nougat, and a whisper of savoury spice. On the palate, vibrant citrus and stone fruit unfold with creamy finesse and a refined chalky texture. A saline thread runs through the core, adding energy and length to the elegant, mineral-driven finish. Sophisticated and balanced, this is a masterclass in cool-climate Chardonnay.
A cool winter gave our vines the rest they needed. Though early budding and spring storms challenged the crop, careful canopy and soil moisture management helped us coax out incredible flavor. The dry ripening season allowed us to balance stress and irrigation, producing a small but intensely expressive 2024 harvest—low yields, high quality, and truly memorable fruit.

Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards is nestled against the Helderberg Nature Reserve in Stellenbosch. With breathtaking views of False Bay and Table Bay, often wrapped in clouds, a cool climate, sea breezes, a granite foundation and strong minerality of the soil, enhanced by acres of fynbos.... nature does her work. The position at altitude with vineyards as high as 620 metres above sea level creates the climate for wines that are elegant in style.
