Description
The nose opens with cassis, blackcurrant, and charred cedar, layered with notes of juniper, balsamic, and subtle floral lift. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and composed, with a core of dark fruit flowing into brighter red tones of pomegranate and cherry. Silky tannins provide structure without heaviness, while hints of spice, graphite, and savory complexity add depth. The finish is long, structured, and finely balanced, showcasing both power and precision.
This is a serious Stellenbosch red, built for both immediate impact and long-term cellaring, pairing beautifully with grilled meats, lamb, game, and rich, savory dishes.
Select Shiraz parcels were whole-bunch fermented, adding aromatic lift and complexity. After extended maceration, each varietal component was matured separately in oak barrels before the final blend was assembled, ensuring precision, structure, and integration.
