Uva Mira Mountain Vineyards The Dance Cabernet Franc 2024 is a focused, site-driven red from the elevated slopes of the Helderberg Mountains. Made as a single-varietal expression, it places freshness, perfume, and mineral structure ahead of sheer weight, giving the wine a clear sense of mountain-grown precision.
The nose opens with redcurrant, raspberry, and black cherry, followed by violet, graphite, and dried herbs. On the palate, bright red fruit is framed by fine tannins and a firm, linear structure, while subtle spice and mineral detail add complexity through the finish. It would pair especially well with roast lamb, duck, mushroom dishes, or herb-led cuisine.
This is a poised, age-worthy Cabernet Franc with enough structure and freshness to develop further over the next several years.
The growing season was marked by a cold winter, generous rainfall, and a cool, steady ripening period. Snow on the Helderberg and well-maintained soil moisture helped slow development in the vineyard, allowing the fruit to build concentration while preserving freshness and structure. No fermentation, maturation, or oak details were provided.
